@explorergrace sounds like when I first created a mastodon account it was mastodon.nz? It was ages ago, and yes I find the structure and terminology hard to get my head around which is why I didn 't stay. Hoping to ride the current wave and see if I can make it stick this time

@lightweight I was thinking all the #nztwits might not want to see quite as much #climate content as I do. That I would curate them a bit differently. (if I have understood how it works, which I may not)

@strypey I'm understanding about 1/3 of the explanations people are kindly giving me (or posting generally). There's something very enticing about the nature of Mastodon, I haven't felt this excited about the internet in a very long time. I'm highly motivated to put the effort in to making work, I'm curious how this will work for others.@isaacfreeman @drew @swansinflight
