@weka you should be able to migrate followers/followees, block lists (if any) and various other bits of your first profile to import into your second. And then people looking at your first one can be redirected to your second.

@lightweight I was thinking all the #nztwits might not want to see quite as much #climate content as I do. That I would curate them a bit differently. (if I have understood how it works, which I may not)

@weka you could post a "top level" post with public visibility, then reply to the original post as unlisted posts; they all show in a thread, but only the original shows in the public timelines. may be an option to consider. Daily new Post then therad from there, maybe? People can also filter their feed, I have over a dozen filters so I never see things like Wordle posts for example.@lightweight

@swansinflightGood ideas. @weka you could also experiment with unlisted posts with hashtags like #ClimateChange so only people following our searching on those hashtags see those posts. I wonder if there is a #Guppe group for climate change?@lightweight

The terminology varies a little depending on the app you're using, but they all have options for making your posts public, unlisted (as @swansinflight described ), followers-only, or direct message. DMs are only visible to those mentioned in it (and in theory the admins if your instance).@weka @lightweight
