       @sorayaYes, thank you. Drinking fermented drinks because you don't have reliable access to clean water is one thing (which isn't relevant in 2022 we have filters and chemicals), glorifying a poison that kills more than war and crime and most disease isn't chic. Drugs can be fun but a lot of them are safe and can have interesting effects.

       @quadIf you stick to simple software on Linux it may still get slower considering how fat the kernel is nowadays. For pure useable performance even OpenBSD is a contender nowadays! FreeBSD is great if you only need what it can do (so not many games and not all the fancy graphical stuff)@thor

       @atyhI've been using Darktable for casual use for a long time, it's painless and effortless, runs on everything, and I never had any issues like DRM wasting my time. Free software is even more important when it's something more useful than a game, yet people think DRM is acceptable when it's Adobe or Microsoft doing it… You can deduct donations in your professional expenses so why bother with proprietary bullshit that leeches off your livelihood.@gabriel

       @duponinTime better spent learning how to make the miniatures yourself from files online, resins and a 3D printer, perhaps? They're good decoration so I understand the appeal, I used to own a few mostly so I could paint them and look at them.

       @duponinWarhammer is so expensive making resin equivalents for the big unique stuff and moulds for the rest (casting lead isn't really fashionable but if you're careful about contamination it's safe) would probably be cheaper, for 100% custom stuff.
