Now that I've played around with it a bit, there are some things I like better about Bluesky. What worries me is the uncertainty around what might come next (e.g., advertising, paid memberships, being bought by the Tesla guy). Mastodon seems far better positioned to resist such threats. For now, I plan to stay here and continue to bridge my account to Bluesky. #bluesky #fediverse #mastodon

An important part of my self-care involves intentionally limiting my exposure to partisan political content. This has led me to reduce my use of social media. It has also meant that I've developed a thicker skin in that accusations of being "part of the problem" because "silence is complicit" (or worse) don't bug me like they used to.#SocialMedia #SelfCare
