@vjack I agree in defining an atheist not as someone who claims there is no god, but as someone who doesn't believe in gods. It's usually associated with claims about reality (at a minimum, that reality hasn't given us satisfactory evidence of a god's existence) but isn't itself a metaphysical claim.
