@jeena Big instances have probably already been bought off with their owners long gone. Now meta staff are running the instances assuming their identities. Once people start catching on. There will be a mass exodus to new instances.The funny thing about the fediverse, it's beyond easy to switch instances. You will see new hosting providers dedicated to helping people run their own new instances too.You can divide a fractal, but all you get is more fractals. This is how the fediverse works.

@jeena They most likely already went through similar emotional turmoil when they deleted their Facebook accounts to came over to the fediverse before. It's like pulling off a bandaid. It will sting for about 10 seconds and then the pain from pulling it off is over. You can't leave it on forever.The vast majority of people in the fediverse already know what must be done. They will pull that bandaid off and be good as new. Rather than face have to go back to anything run by meta ever again.

@Flick I am not on the far right, left, or an any "side". However, the far right is nowhere even CLOSE to being as hostile to a free society as the transqueer movement is. Their numerous daily crimes against children and violence towards anyone who doesn't support their vile ideologies. Far surpasses anything that your average far right citizen has ever done, or will ever do. By a very wide margin.Other than that I completely agree with you on this subject matter.

@UptownGirl Honestly after a bishop raped my Sunday school classmate. Followed by Sunday school lessons at the priests house where he disappeared into a bedroom for private lessons with another friend.The Catholic church lost any reason whatsoever to get any money, or attendance ever again. As a recovering Catholic, who also learned that satinists took over leading the church a couple hundred years ago.Fuck em. Plenty of other denominations out there if you want to still be a Christian.

@Phil Miracle Whip is too sweet for a BLT.Give me good old fashioned Mayo that doesn't have soy in it and we are good to go. @xianc78 I know it sucks. I know Karen's get pissed off at this all the time. Heck I've even heard of them calling the cops on people for this. At the end of the day you can either get yourself worked up, fight the owner, fight the dog, or just walk somewhere else entirely where there are no dogs. Even though it is unfaur. Last option seems the most sane one to me.
