@mattwilcox @stux There are several streams like this one that do this (and they are not connected to this one). Two of the streams were already independently tested and considered contaminated. Not only that, but further down stream from where this lady is in the video, it opens up to a fishing area. None of the fish are alive now. So don't be quick to dismiss the contamination.

@nosleep People like to give C a bad rep because they think it's irrelevant or because they think other languages are superior. (try not to get into the language war if you can avoid it) but I started my development in C. If you ever need OOP for some reason C++ is a great place to go. It's built on top of C (which people think it replaces C but technically you need C installed in order to use C++ so be your own judge).There isn't anything you can't do with C. There are plenty of things you can't do with other languages though. Try adding a kernel module to linux from Java or running a very low-memory app for a 32KB RAM IoT device using Python. Heh, not going to happen. But can with C!C is such a great language to use and it helps you also understand how your code affects the hardware underneath. I'm glad you are enjoying it. There is lots of jobs around C so if your making a career in development, keep C under your belt. You'll be happy you did later on.

@lore Yes, there is still a chip shortage. My company still has a huge backlog of orders that we are waiting for manufacturers to fulfill. We are going to be in a chip shortage until at least 2026 based on current estimates. Countries are trying to spin up new factories but it takes time to do that and most won't be ready until close to 2025.

@thor I was single for 30 years. I know what single life is like. What I'm saying is, people have preconceptions about what Marriage is. When they get into Marriage they realize it's not what they expected it to be.It's not that I don't love my wife. But my life was very simple. I do what I wanted anytime and didn't really have to worry about anything. Life is 3 times more complex and much more stressful then it was when I was single.I made a contract with my wife that I would be with her until death. I am a man of my word so I am stuck with this marriage. But believe me. Single life has more pros then married life has.

In fact, you will likely have to deny yourself to give her what she wants. You can't just do whatever you want anymore. Everything you want to do has to factor her into it.
