@cyberghost Telegram is decentralised long ago. If a set of groups and people misuse signal and matrix and the court orders for data which either signal r matrix fails to deliver and if the court gets angry on that they may ban it. So I prefer using #telegram still for its features and privacy. #Telegram is used all over the world(even in banned countries) to avoid surveillance.

@dettlaff Yes. Only clients were open source till today. But still it's the only proprietary app I'll ever trust for privacy just like those all over the world adopt telegram to avoid surveillance. Telegram features are just decades ahead of other platforms.

@realcaseyrollins @TwistedEagle Coz #telegram is simply the best on the planet for communication. It helps u in a ways. Try using it and u may replace a lot of apps in ur daily use. Just try and ull realise how advanced that app is. No wonder they're top 10 popular apps in the world without even spending single bit of money on marketing or sales. @realcaseyrollins @hn50 what they said matters. Telegram giving data on court orders about illegal activists and never the legit user data. Throughout the history, telegram never compromised ordinary user's data. Freedom of speech differs from promoting violence etc. And in case, if u think e2ee is better look at all those chat leaks and hacks occurred in WhatsApp though being e2ee. Freedom is for people and for those misusing it privacy is a luxury that should be restricted.

@kravietz Recently telegram hides the login on the search and login page and can only be seen after u touch the spoiler effect. This update is there for almost 2 weeks from now. Also telegram limits u to change important security things like logging out on other devices etc until 24 hours pass from ur login to the new device. Which helps us to identify immediately through the notification that some random person is logging in sus. (1/2)

@gianmarcogg03 U are in danger only if u installed a Malware in Mac giving root permissions. And their official site version is safe and only the app store version has the vulnerability and it is being fixed.

@realcaseyrollins @TwistedEagle @fuat2mb They allow people to have freedom of speech and avoid surveillance from govts etc. If u don't trust them, just use their secret chats. Coz They brought that for those who concern about privacy issues. And of course they are the best on the planet as a feature rich messager. Use telegram but wisely. That's all. No need to completely throw it away. It provides features for a lot of sectors from people to business & organisations

@eighthave Atleast telegram stands for freedom of speech and helps avoid surveillance. If not for communication, telegram can be used for a lot other purposes like channels, group management etc. Avoid WhatsApp at all costs if u care about ur privacy and phone
