@lucybeahere @sethcotlar @DanielEsq That's like saying "Windows is infested with child porn" because lots of pedos use Windows and store their files on it.If they're defederated, they may be using the Mastodon software to run their pedo instance, but they aren't part of *this* (gestures vaguely around).

@dwarf @benis You want the current to be at least what it originally had (700mA) but having more available (1000mA) won't be a problem. It just won't use it. And hopefully the keyboard has protections inside in case something shorts and tries to use more than 700mA.

@TechConnectify What fuel is used by those little camp stove-looking things that I've seen used in indoor corporate cafeteria-type environments.

@TechConnectify No, it was in a metal bottle like the butane canister for my camp stove.

@TechConnectify Do you think they'd be any safer indoors than propane?(Uh, my tone here is just curious, not challenging.)

@elizamccarthy @cstross If you’ve ever been on a website and had a little window pop up asking if you need assistance, that’s probably a simple bot that doesn’t use ChatGPT.It’ll run through a script not unlike the annoying multiple choice phone menus you get when calling a pharmacy.Eventually if you need something it can’t handle it may connect you with a real person.

@Polychrome Mouser has a lot of inventory but I don't think they're one of the "send us your crap and we'll list it" places.I think Digikey, maybe, makes a distinction between their own inventory and "Market" vendor listings of god knows what.

@dalias @jschauma At that point they should just ship a VM environment that contains all the dependencies needed to build Ruby, Rust, Python, and Perl.
