@Shiroyasha @roboneko Well I know there’s a market for anything controls related right now as you can’t find those variety of parts anywhere in the world at the moment. Board design was always something that fascinated me after I had to dabble in it for work. Though I am more of a machine design type so watching the actual process was what I enjoyed the most, top of the line PNP machines look unreal running at their top end speed.

@Irishblackpilled It’s bots. Bots have been destroying the site and most people are completely unaware. The “popular” boards never recovered from the GPT 4chan video and the mods have been completely powerless to stop it. You don’t even need a pass to do it anymore since the auto captcha solvers have gotten so good. Any retard can write one now. There are even several repositories out there for it.

@WashedOutGundamPilot GPT is the language center of the brain without the rest of the brain behind it. It can string together the words and concepts that should go together but not reason or create meaning. Well, at least with the models we have now. Anything that’s threatened by the current state of the art language models had no actual substance to it in the first place.

@mmmfeet @SerfnUSA @nugger Wew, that was such a good video. Love seeing people wake up to what suburbs are. They were built as a cope response under a great stress as the least bad solution at the time. They are something that can only really exist under a perverse regulatory structure that prevents the free association of white people. There’s a reason the worst houses you can buy are all from the 60’s, the people then knew they weren’t something permanent and used whatever cheap/experimental materials they could. However, what’s built now is divorced from a lot of that reasoning and things tend to become particularly monstrous when they lose their grounding. We weren’t meant to live like this.

@deprecated_ii @skylar The bus bar in the lever nuts have plenty of safety margin, they are pure German autism, and having the positive spring contact ensures the connection stays consistent over time. Wire nuts tend to come loose eventually due to thermal cycling of the wire. Biggest thing for me though is that you can actually visually confirm that whatever idiot was doing the wiring that day did it correctly or not. Wire nuts are always a mystery and I always assume they were done incorrectly.
