@TornadoOfTerror Always knew this genre would be an absolute bane for creativity, 98% of the stories are daydreams, with no middle and end, you just start somewhere and just keep wasting time thinking of things to do. It's not a world neither a story, not a game for people to play in and not a tale of epic proportions exploring the human conditions full of contradictions and dilemmas. It's a 15 year old bored in chemistry class thinking how much nicer it would be be slaying some goblins(jews) instead.

It's why the premise of, ''stuck inside a video game world with your real body still outside'' is actually interesting, we already have the goal of getting out. And the conflict is, ''we can make this a world of our own, were we can feel fulfilled and happy, unlike how the real world is.''Characters motivation cannot just be, ''we'll see where this goes.''Moon-Led journey across another world for example, I like it, it's coherent and good and all, but it's still just a day dream, my man will never go back to his world, it's not something even hinted at, he is back to his original world where he tries to live his best life. That can only be so interesting.

It's junk food now.
