My grandfathers served in the Kennedy administration. My Dad fought in combat in Vietnam. I did not understand the richness of my own history until you explained it in present day terms. Hello @Debradelai I am in the 7th district and I believe there are a few people running to challenge Abigail SpanCommie (as we say in my house). Is there going to be a convention in Virginia to determine the GOP candidate? I am not seeing much discussion of this. Usually we get something in the mail, etc. but almost blackout info this time.

@Jackie The purpose of this article on the daily mail site is to defame conservatives. Click bait of happy people war time, etc. so you will look to see President Reagan with a chimpanzee. "Don't forget republicans are idiots!"daily mail runs one of these every day. It's either nostalgic nazis or happy communists from the good ol days. I read their site b/c it is not filtered by US media interests. But they still hate conservatives. They throw it at us every day.

@Elaines2cents I think there is an even richer irony here. The Left shuts down schools and hell, even imposes martial law areas in NY and NJ. But what does the Left fear most: ta-dah! the family unit! Now the government is FORCING families to spend time together, no distractions except TV and internet. Is two weeks enough time to break government mental hold? It'll be enough time to introduce something different! PDJT must get a big chuckle out of this. The Left is doing it to themselves.

@ThomasWic What if the 1/6 incident was planned by dems and rinos, same as Charlottesville lie was planned by then gov. McAuliffe, who wanted as many deaths as needed to spark race war. And say Trump knew they would blame 1/6 on maga. So Trump actually invited maga to come to DC on 1/6, as he did more than once on twitter. And PURPOSELY delayed maga arrival at the capitol to expose/ruin the plot to blame staged maga (antifa) supporters. Trump knows his supporters are peaceful and not violent.
