@SecularBlasphemy a government that does things you want is a government that can do things you don't and at the end of the day it's still giving a foreign body responsability, and thus authority, over you instead of taking responsability for yourself. 1.59 is abyssmal and still below replacement. Pro-Family™️ policies are useless in the anti-family environment of social media, dating apps, contraception and egalitarian ideals.

@SecularBlasphemy I agree. In case I came off as some kind of individualist or anarchist let me reiterate: I too think that most people are cattle that need guidance by some form of governing body. The Amish and the Hasidics have a government at the family level led by the man and a government at the communal level led by religious leaders that filters The Government at the higher levels. This is only possible with numbers, otherwise your community gets Waco'd.My point is that if you want "pro-family" behaviour, you need a pro-family environment, and the Hasidics and Amish are just two good examples of this, mini-Sharia-law included.

@cosmo @LouisConde Women can't be trusted to uphold civility in any meaningful way and will submit to its destroyers should they succeed. If you want women to adhere to a civil or noble way of life you need strong men with a stronger hand. A few beatings and stonings will go a long way in preventing women from desecrating God's temple with whore ink and other heresies.

@cosmo @LouisConde I never made reference to a woman's role in my post, only to the nature of her adherence "to a civil or noble way of life". As far as her role is concerened I more or less agree with you; she should be the backbone of her family, led by the man, which forms the backbone of a community. This in my opinion is at the core of what I call 'civility'.My point is, no matter her role, she can not be expected to adhere to it on her own accord, that is, civility should not be made to rest on the shoulders of women in any capacity as is does now (or whatever of it we pretend is left anyway). Thus men are required to keep women in submission to this role and for modern modern women who lack even the concept, nothing short of hard physical discipline is going to work.

@cosmo @LouisConde I think you are looking at civilizations at the height of their existence and infering that their success comes from the behaviour of its people and not the other way around. I see it as a more of a loose cycle, the 'bad times > strong men > good times > weak men' sort of deal. "Successful" civilizations are at the 'good times > weak men' stage and enjoy a level of safety and abundance that allows for egalitarian ideas to take hold. Ideas like marriage being about "romance" or "love" and not survival or social ties for instance. This always ends up with women playing a larger and larger role in the society and being given unearned rights. They inevitably fall.Civilizations are very turbulent and hard to maintain, and what they stand for changes on the whim of a few figureheads but at their core are communities that are able to preserve strict (religious) principles irrespective of the parent civilization. This is my only concern as I am neither politician nor emperor. l insist that these principles can only survive through the devotion of men and must be instilled onto their women.
