I can't help but feel that leddit is a serious psyop. I don't know how describe the cattle there other than being in a state of mass psychosis. The powermods are well documented and ensure that tons of unrelated subreddits follow the same political viewpoints but the bots are interesting.A friend of mine told me about how he went onto a porn subreddit and made a joke comment about graphene oxide in a sexual context. Within minutes accounts with zero posting history in any porn sub flooded his account to correct the record about how safe the shots are. I'm sure other words like ivermectin activate the bots too. Then again real redditors are so easy to mimic as the gpt2 sub simulator shows.It's literally just like Twitter was 5 years ago when even irony poisoned college kids found out that making a post with nothing but names of programming languages would earn retweets from bots, or the infamous "I want that on a t shirt" bots that sold viral art on shirts.

There was little moderation top down wise or even much in the way of "subtle" shit like shadowbans, and it was unique even among places like the *chans, KF, and more because there was little in the way of "jannies" to fuck with you. What Tumblr had instead was both the lack of any well known right-wing presence (thanks in part to it's reputation) and instead the userbase being a mob who enforced a specific set of rules universally. Tumblr didn't exactly ban many people from what I recall, but they would harass the fuck out of users targeted by other members of the site. This led to at least one alleged suicide attempt that hit the news, and then was forgotten about fast.It was also effective because Tumblr users were almost always social rejects and trying to hide a double life of drawing/consuming internet porn or being true and honest trans enbys. It was easier to roll over to the mob than to worry about the invisible fear of someone outing them to their parents.

Social media makes the System and their jannies an omnipotent threat (cancel culture) that the average person has no defense against. As these social media systems become more integrated with daily life, even maintaining IRL relationships can require using social media. Your success becomes less about trying to make factually correct decisions ("we can't let barbarians into our village") and more about doing what the system wants (refugees welcome). Though public life has always required you to make concessions, it's much worse nowadays because we have less privacy: the system is directly involved in your personal life. Since when did you have to worry about your private conversations being monitored and censored by the personal army of a rich Jew living thousands of miles away?Thus, the internet is making us hypercivilized: in public, it selects not for a higher proportion of unique, passionate, and skeptical individuals, but for agreeable button pushers best able to internalize the rules of the hivemind and please the algorithms (lest they get Zucced and cast out). In the private space, it selects for people who can navigate (and are satisfied with) sterile, artificial social environments like Zoom calls and texting (which can reduce an adept conversationalist into a bumbling autist).This wouldn't be such an issue if women weren't so invested in using these platforms. Good luck finding a young woman who doesn't use texting or social media as their primary means of communicaiton. Because of this, (legally) reproducing in Atomized Individual Land means: A. Navigating this twisted hall of mirrors and scoring a gf/wife, B. getting lucky and having enough IRL time with a quality woman to get married, C. being rich enough to afford cloning and telling the authorities to look the other way. Charles Darwin is not on our side.If there's a silver lining to any of this, it's that you can be confident that the grass is not greener on the other side. As the System gets hungrier, even "normies" will start to see their quality of life degrade. If you can join or start a community that can work without this techno-insanity, you and your descendants will be in a much better position than the normies living in the shackles of the system's hive mind.
