Honestly the easiest, cheapest, tastiest foods are chilis, soups, rice and grains. You cannot go wrong with these and at the end of the day your wallet will thank you.

@oklomsy Agree. And healthy in most versions, too. I understand why the soup kitchen is a way that charities feed folk in the most economical & healthy way.

@oklomsy I don't see the problem. Almost all ingredients I use are organic (except salt). Would be weird to eat otherwise.And slow cooking happens automatically when you forget what you are currently doing in the kitchen. :blobcatpeek:
