Someone's kindness made me cry today.My son's been attending a kids sewing class at a local fabric store.The owner saw how much he loves it, and had offered to sell us a machine at a discount for him to use at home, but it was still out of reach for us financially. I told her we'd save up for it for Christmas.Today she gave us that sewing machine free. She said she wanted him to be able to continue to sew at home.Enabling his passion is such a priceless gift and I'm incredibly thankful.

@fesshole For the love of nature DON'T FEED WILD ANIMALS.You aren't helping them, you're putting them in danger. They will end up approaching other humans and may be killed as a result. There's also a chance the kits won't learn how find food on their own.I'm not trying to be a jerk about it, but if you love animals please let the wild ones be.

@briankrebs I recently started "How to keep house while drowning". It's great in that instead of life hacks or some particular system it deals with the mental health side of it. Hearing it validated that my struggle is not laziness, but rather difficulties posed by my disabilities, and that it doesn't make me a bad person has been liberating.

@fesshole I don't do this with clothes but sometimes I do with toiletries. easier to buy a small bottle of shampoo/toothpaste at the destination than try to guess at what airport security is willing to accept that particular day
