       Somehow there weren't enough suitable spruce scraps in the workshop, so I bought a board at the home improvement store. Sadly I didn't take care to inspect it fully and only saw it's clean side, but when I got home, I noticed the heap of worm holes on the other side. So the first evening was taken up by a character-building session with the scrub plane and the long jointer before the "real" work could start 😅All in all this took around 10 hours with only hand tools and a random-orbit sander.
