The Minuet of which you speak, that's not the one with POPMail and the Gopher+
clients from the U of Mn, is it?
That was one of my favorite projects. It was a bootable 3.5" disk with a
TCP/IP driver, SLIPDIAL and Gopher+, Telnet, FTP, and Email clients.
The idea was that you could carry the disk with you, slip it into any PC,
boot from the floppy, and do all your online business without actually
bothering the hard drive of the person whose processor you were borrowing.
I worked on the TCP/IP driver and SLIPDIAL. Learned enough about the 16550
UART chip to really despise it. Loved the package though.
