Laughable.Linden Labs was the first #metaverse with #secondlife.I know. I was there as Nobody Fugazi. It's limitations were already known. @Shebeencounter because with the approval ratings of his war of choice, Trump stands alone with his political base.And it's eroding.So I call it as the approval shows. He did this. It's his mess.I could just name Netanyahu instead, but I am not sure of that dynamic.So yeah, that's why.

@jonn_blanchard I've been watching the shift happen...Fortunately, I am running mainly used apple silicon for ollama lately. It's just a matter of availability.I hate apple business practices too, so all I do is... not buy new things these days.I don't need to be so fast. Most people don't.It's just sisyphean churn. After three decades, you realize they call it a race... but there is no finish line. 🙃

@stux on one side, I read the friction regarding who gets remembered. I understand that.On the other side, I don't see the Dutch picking fights with their neighbors and those across the world who wear different religious garb...So maybe the holiday served a good purpose before the world was as connected as it is now. Because the Dutch remember what it cost them.I dunno. A passing 2 cents. I think it should adapt to the present and future. It seems like that is underway.

@mntmn I like it, though for me there is one fatal problem. Everyone likes to put the tracking device on the bottom. I absolutely hate that. Accidental touches all the time.
