       Werner Herzog is responsible for the sole successful creation in the Disney Star Wars era.The original plan was to replace puppet Baby Yoda with a CG version, the puppet intended solely as a placeholder.Herzog had such immense contempt for the notion that they tried doing it with the puppet alone, and the rest is history.

       I vividly remember the last time I watched a new Simpsons episode from start to finish. It was Y2K. An entire episode without a single laugh. I didn't crack a smile. I started a few more just to be sure, same, tuned out at the first break.

They learned this after Police Squad failed, getting lower ratings with each absolutely hilarious episode:A sitcom is comfort food. You don't want brilliant satire, you want characters you like going through the motions, the status quo never disturbed, the format remains the same.Animation is the only medium capable of maintaining a sliding timeline (world marches on, characters stay the same age - see Peanuts) for decades.

       The issue there is young people talk a lot but they don't show up on election day.George McGovern being the most severe example.Ron Paul had this problem in the primaries.Not even saying she is the worst candidate - Kamala is an outright fucking whore and I prefer big booty latinas to niggerpajeets any day - but her base is notoriously lazy.

       Real Genius is up there with Tombstone and True Romance.Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is another good Kilmer film, written by legendary Lethal Weapon creator Shane Black. Kilmer does play a homo so that will be a dealbreaker for some here.
