And like. I've been crying at A LOT of movies lately. Especially children's movies. And it's kinda embarassing, movies designed to be watchable by kids are not meant to be brutal. But for me they're worse than horror.But I think it's because they just highlight how fucking basic this shit is. The way these characters are treated is meant to be obviously wrong. Morality 101.And yet somehow my family have treated me the exact same way, and insist it's my fault somehow.

Like idk it's just kinda jarring how many times I'm watching comic-book-evil characters say shit that's so obviously awful... and realise that I've heard literally that exact line multiple times.And idk crying at all these kids movies all the fucking time. It just really drives home how deeply traumatised I am. From school and my bio family, sure. But also from my first found-family, and from lovers. People I thought I could trust.

I am the world's leading expert at buying an SD card reader, using it one (1) time, and then the next time I need it having no fucking idea where I put it and having to buy another one.I've never found any of the old ones either, which means each time I put one "somewhere safe", it's apparently a different place.

Transfems, you need to understand that even if your doctor is lovely and supportive, they are almost certainly following WPATH guidelines for HRT. WPATH guidelines are so bad they should be considered transphobic. They give you tiny amounts of estrogen, discredited t-blockers, and a low dose of prog IF you're lucky.I'm not saying that you have to DIY. But you should at least be an informed patient. I keep having transfems in my spaces talking about how HRT hasn't done anything for them, and then I ask them about their levels and their treatment and it's abysmally low. A lot of them even still had androgen-dominant endocrine systems!Don't trust the authorities, they don't care about trans people. Don't trust your doctor, they just follow the guides they are given. @brettm They do mention within the past 2 weeks, so 16th of May seems plausible. I had intermittent issues with 5G, NBN FTTB, and NBN HFC across multiple locations. Dropouts and packet loss.

@brettm Interestingly, this is the first widespread issue I've seen that has gone unreported on /r/sysadmin. Reddit truly is dead. Genuinely need to figure out what platform I'm going to get news like this on in future. /r/sysadmin saved me so much time troubleshooting issues that weren't mine in the past.

@brettm I've recently started using Void Linux on my main PC. It's wild how freeing it is to not deal with systemd.Yes, a lot of things are less convenient. But it feels like I have so much control back. It feels like I'm using *Linux* again.

@brettm I think that systemd breaks the principle of least surprise in many many ways, and is quite opaque to troubleshoot if you don't already know exactly where to look.
