       Wreck-It Ralph made me have a fucking breakdown.Ralph is definitely autistic, right? Like, his experience is explicitly an autistic one?I mean I think it's safe to say that the movie definitely is about ableism, given the mention of "pixlexia" and the way that "glitching" parallels tic disorders.But yeah. Ralph's story. I felt that. fuck.

       And like. I've been crying at A LOT of movies lately. Especially children's movies. And it's kinda embarassing, movies designed to be watchable by kids are not meant to be brutal. But for me they're worse than horror.But I think it's because they just highlight how fucking basic this shit is. The way these characters are treated is meant to be obviously wrong. Morality 101.And yet somehow my family have treated me the exact same way, and insist it's my fault somehow.

       Like idk it's just kinda jarring how many times I'm watching comic-book-evil characters say shit that's so obviously awful... and realise that I've heard literally that exact line multiple times.And idk crying at all these kids movies all the fucking time. It just really drives home how deeply traumatised I am. From school and my bio family, sure. But also from my first found-family, and from lovers. People I thought I could trust.
