       @eff I guess Sony doesnt value having customers. We were already not doing business with Sony because of other privacy, security, authoritarianism issues, but this guarantees we will never use them again for anything. Haven't owned a Playstation since the ps1 anyway, and the emulators are looking better and better all the time. No local ownership? Ok byeeee

       @eff @aaronmackey @verge ICE agents are fascists, what they are doing is illegal, and most are avowed nazis -- the same type of ideologue we killed by the millions in germany during ww2.        @eff we would never use them. From the very beginning my family and I simply avoided all that, long BEFORE the problem of "ai" ingestion and surveillance was known, simply because obsessing over personal health monitoring devices is literally unhealthy, demonstrably so. AND THEN, these are also used for fascistic surveillance, "ai" trash, etc. Full stop. If your dr wants you to monitor your health, have that doctor order devices. Dont use publicly available trash tech that stresses you out.

       @eff nearly all mainstream social media is horrifying late-stage psych manipulation and propaganda distribution system, the worst in world history, and it *especially* preys upon the minds of children and tech illiterate folk. Turning off the internet, itself, is often a smarter idea than spending never-ending time and energy trying to catch up to the latest threats. Smart families have ALREADY managed their kids' internet and social media access. Now the fascist state wants a piece.

       @eff this is less of a problem for people than Rockstar realizes, perhaps. If buying isn't owning, then sharing isnt stealing, and its certainly not "piracy" lol. Many people came to legitimate software and media sales because software sales, for a brief moment, became reasonable and legitimate, but as usual they have changed the deal and returned to illegitimate, unreasonable behaviors AND they try to surveil and steal data from your system for their own profit and convenience.
