       Sony is ending the sale of physical discs for new Playstation games. This switch to only digital sales is a move that takes away even more rights from consumers.

       @eff I guess Sony doesnt value having customers. We were already not doing business with Sony because of other privacy, security, authoritarianism issues, but this guarantees we will never use them again for anything. Haven't owned a Playstation since the ps1 anyway, and the emulators are looking better and better all the time. No local ownership? Ok byeeee

       @eff they could do this right, where you can download the game and put it on a disk/card and it would work like the old disks, allowing Sony to Ave a few cents a game while still allowing customers to have physical irrevocable access to their game.But they won't, because "piracy"
