       @eff Reading that not long after my country, France, passed a similar law. The restrictions on social media for minors under 15 in France will start being applied in less than 2 weeks.When some political group has a nasty idea like that, of course other political groups all around the world feel inspired.And during this time, the big social media companies can still avoid taxes, steal data, and manipulate vulnerable people for monetary profit or propaganda. -_-(This applies to other profit oriented companies in all fields.)

       @eff nearly all mainstream social media is horrifying late-stage psych manipulation and propaganda distribution system, the worst in world history, and it *especially* preys upon the minds of children and tech illiterate folk. Turning off the internet, itself, is often a smarter idea than spending never-ending time and energy trying to catch up to the latest threats. Smart families have ALREADY managed their kids' internet and social media access. Now the fascist state wants a piece.
