@azonenberg I'll admit, I have never actually run SEM myself: I'm a crystallographer now, and I was an NMR nerd as an undergrad, but all the engineers around me use it a ton and they have opinions on it and that one amused me

I made mistake of complaining today was going to be a boring day at work. I just had to send out an email declaring a lab closed, because due to the wild under pressure inside that room there's a decent chance you wouldn't be able to open the door if there was a fire. You can see how well that boring day is going. #RealTimeChem

@xgranade Honestly, I think Creative Commons is non-commercial license was a much better idea than the GPL, And I've always been annoyed that if you selected it, scolds you for not embracing free culture.

This is very odd, we just reaet my husband's password using the KDE system settings to something very simple, dictionary word, all lowercase to make it impossible to mistype He then logged out of my account and attempted to log into his, without luck. It feels like there is broken in my Linux install! Advice Welcome!#linux #OpenSUSE

@linear Wow! I was thinking of turning my old gaming PC with an i2600K into a server and it takes a LOT more then that. Though I bet I could pull the graphics card (1060) to lower it, but I bet it would still draw way more then that (I'm thinking of running mumble, IRC or xmpp, Copyparty, a modded Minecraft server, but I've never done this before so I'm nervous enough getting started that I've been putting it off)

Still trying to find a replacement for Antennapod and it is really frustrating. I'm leaving that "minimal" means "Didn't put much work in" Also, I'm very confused why using the material design libraries is such a selling point among podcatchers. Every single client seems to list it as a selling point! Really wish that fdroid would start listing AI as an anti-feature as well: They dock every podcast client for relying on non-free network services, but can't tell me which ones are slop?

@piggo @bram It did, but a group of nerds have apparently brought it back. A lot of distributions are based off it apparently: Mageia, PClinuxOS, OpenMandrivia and othersIt's hard to track, because the Wikipedia family trees make no sense, someone has borked them to the point that some of them list Mandrake as a descendant of Mandrevia and other such sillyness

@Rocahontas OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, Debian and Mint depending on which computer it's on. (I used the rolling for my gaming PC, Debian for the server I'm building from an old gaming PC, and mint for my husband's computers since it's easier to use)
