       we're trying to get a tomato sauce stain out of my nice new white mostly-rayon shorts. The Oxi-Clean stuff @Canageek 's mom recommended says wash in the hottest water you can. Any #FiberArts folks have an estimate for how hot we can safely wash a #rayon/nylon/elastane blend? A little preliminary research tells me it's at risk of shrinking.(in case it matters: 75% rayon, 22% nylon, 3% elastane)

       @WizardOfDocs@wandering.shop @Canageek@wandering.shopfor the purposes of stain removal, "hot water" means above about 125F.for the purpose of avoiding shrinkage of rayon, "hot water" means above about 85F.this is the primary downside of rayon.

       @linear @WizardOfDocs Thank you so much, it seems using warm water and repeated applications of the stain remover is working, it just means that it's taken most of a day to get it out, based on my husband's texts
