       Somebody brought this up to me here a few months ago, when I posted a link to a different person's YouTube video, and the Mastodon person said, "but that face is so stupid." I didn't think about it much at the time, just agreed... but the seed was planted. Despite kind of liking the content of this guy, I don't think I can watch any more stuff that has a thumbnail with the person looking gaytarded with some fake shocked expression on their face.

       I've never heard of this guy, but looking at the pictures I agree that he comes across as an idiot with that fake shock expression. Unfortunately, most Youtube commentators, males and females, do this in their thumbnails. I assume it's supposed to draw in viewers who will think that the content must be really mindblowing if it elicits such a strong reaction from the show's host. But could the public really be that stupid?

       @Starcodecaser YouTube pumps them up on the algo if they make these shocked faces... that's what I heard one of them explain... which to me is a big joke that YouTube is playing on these content creators, making them look as stupid as possible with facial expressions.
