       @EdBoatConnoisseur @bronze The OS comparison is flawed, not all Linux distros run systemd, Devaun, a Debian clone that does not use Systemd is one such that doesn't, MxLinux gives you a choice, many older distros like Centos6 don't.

       @bronze@pl.kitsunemimi.club @nanook@friendica.eskimo.com i've been using nothig but devuan since late 2020, i even wrote my own daemon that provides a generic session process and manages user services because i use devuan with sysvinit, granted i began writing it before openrc was capable of doing user services so i was targetting that sort of environment too
