They've left it alone so far. I'm probably wrong but I expect Russia to take the rest of Kherson, Odesa, and the seacoast connecting them. That would amount to a land bridge. But slowly, as they do.

@JollyR @BroDrillard @jb millitary asset in crimea, it was under russian occupation ever since they divided the navy, cant give that up. donetsk only had mild assistance untill the war, the desire for a independent or russian donetsk is a desire for stability on their border and a fear of ukraine becoming like chechny was whatwith the millterized groups like azovmoney order stability not any love of the russian, not by the state itself anyways
