       @ariadne the technician license is really not that difficult if you have any electronics knowledge already. I can recommend https://hamstudy.org/ and the Ham Radio Crash Course online exam sessions (but there are plenty of others as well).

       @tk I got 23/35 on the hamstudy practice test just from applying engineering knowledge to this.  the ones I missed were where they had special lingo.
