       How easy is it to use a drone to drop a cloth on something to cover it?  Maybe something on a pole.Or use a drone to paint something with spray paint.It seems like a fun way to solve a problem, with a little bit of distance.

       @tj The thing I would worry about is if the item on top of a pole was recording radio frequencies of your drone. The drone & controller needs to communicate on well known frequencies and send identifying information that could be traced back to the operator.An autonomous AI might help fix that but that would make the drone a lot more costly to make.
