       @Dan_Ramos Many years ago I saw a tank game done by students at UCSD. A couple people could drive around a maze and shoot at each other. It had several levels of shot severity. The highest was "nuke". One shot and it was game over.

       @GrungeQueef I have a few dozen of them in the refrigerator drawer right now. Both the apples and oranges sometimes come in bags that use them. Some of them have a long paper tag attached with some letters & numbers on it.PS: I bake my own bread so I don't get bread bags.

       @deprecated_ii Bring back open book tests and finals.Those are the ones that really challenge you. I had a one question three hour final in Physical Chemistry.- Given a page or two of data (and your books) - does this reaction work?The answer was basically no, the ratio of products to reactants was like 10^-120. But it took over two hours to get to that answer.Yeah - you got partial credit for progress up to that final answer.Not sure AI would help with that 1975 question.

       @tj The thing I would worry about is if the item on top of a pole was recording radio frequencies of your drone. The drone & controller needs to communicate on well known frequencies and send identifying information that could be traced back to the operator.An autonomous AI might help fix that but that would make the drone a lot more costly to make.

       @Dan_Ramos About a week ago I noticed my "dumb" TV got confused by the weak signal it received on one channel. It refused to respond to channel changes, power on/off, etc. Had to unplug it to get control back. Sad.

       @Dan_Ramos Big job - not really if they set things up right.I maintained a handful of builds for a large real time simulator. LIke- developer's machine (which could run a version of the simulation slower than real time)- cluster head node- cluster target node- operator's console- the rsync server we used to push master copies & updatesand a few other builds.We could rebuild the delivered systems in under a day if we needed to. Updates to the simulation in a few minutes.

       @mcread The 1971 ticket got you into the Magic Kingdom. You had to pay for rides separately (A - E tickets). From a dime for an A ticket to about $1 for an E ticket ride.But yeah, inflation alone would be at least 10x the price from then to now. Could you spend $19 in Magic Kingdom to get in and ride back in 1971 - sure. Plus a lot more E ticket rides now.
