       also, if you are an artist on mastodon.art, consider that your creative works are used on the regular to bully other instances who value access to those works, and whether you want your creative works used as political leveragepersonally, i would not appreciate my creative works being abused for this purpose, especially if my income depended on people buying merch & commissions, but hey

       @dngrs the whole value proposition of mastodon.art is that it is a "must have" instance, or at least welshpixie attempts to portray it as suchthe reason why it is a "must have" instance, to the extent that it is one, is because of artists' creative works

       and regarding infosec.exchange, i think of the tech-oriented instances, it is one of the better run ones frankly.i don't always agree with @jerry but he is a reasonable person and being in a few backchannels where he is present, i can tell you that he is a thoughtful person and thinks carefully about moderation and does not deserve this

       @LilaHexe i do not recall, it was 3 years ago.  i believe someone made a request for evidence on the fediblock tag, which seems reasonable given that "trust me bro" is never an acceptable answer to moderation.
