       @dalias @ariadne I guess tapes are better at this but tape drives are seriously expensive, specially ones that can deal with tapes with really nice density.

       @dalias maybe for backups but certainly not for archival, the BD-Rs degrade over timeI gave up on BD-R because half the BD-R backups I've burned I can't read anymore

       @ariadne I got my first vinyls, but I think optical was nicer. Also nobody can stop me from listening to them. Still only buy very few of them nowadays 😕
