       Finally, they said I could have the toys provided I ate all the chocolate. And it wasn't even a situation where they said, throw out the chocolate, you can get the toys. They wanted to see me suffer, so I had to eat 20 chocolate eggs.

       @astraleureka As an adult, I tried to eat some of the treats I loved as a kid again. And in every case it was mildly disappointing at best and horrifying at worst. I loved that garbage? it's mainly sugar and additives with a faint veneer of chocolate. Complete waste of my calorie budget.It's frightening that kids' palates are trained on these things, and it certainly explains a lot of the obesity epidemic. So here's my minute of snobbery: yes, I'm fat, but that's because I like good food in excessive quantities. I couldn't finish a single Kinder egg if I wanted to.
