       @Paradox the thing I remember from philosophy class is that for the old greeks bodily need as a prerequisite for vitue and vitue for enlightenment.You can't become Sokrates while starving, but all the bread in the world ain't gonna make you virtuous

       @Burrson Blackbirdcoop on YT touts this well. He's said several times that people should eat what they can afford, and not be influenced by moral outrage activists who try to tell people not to eat this or that.Feeding yourself comes before anything else. Morality is expensive. He runs a farm that produces meat products at a premium, because he takes good care of his animals, and understands that some people can't afford what he makes. Usually that falls to the megacorps.
