       I see that there's PhotoCollage (which is veeeery close to what I want) but it falls short for two reasons:- It seems to occassionally crop the member images; I need one that preserves the entirety of the members; but, more importantly- It's an image generator, not a picture browser :akkosad:https://github.com/adrienverge/PhotoCollage

       @koakuma fwiw synology has its own app (if you compare with Google Photos) that connects to Synology NAS.

       @koakuma "without getting into the ecosystem" no all data is stored in NAS, but all things considered, it is accessible from android/ios/web. It also supports auto ingestion, e.g. just plug in your flash drive / sd card, then everything is copied automatically and ready to be consumed.also, fwiw, Synology NAS starts from $150.

       @koakuma @sandycorzeta i misunderstood "locally" as in "you own the data"; not as "on-device".but if anything i would avoid nextcloud/owncloud. Setting it up is PITA if you are behind NAT.
