       @kDelta @jfmblinux We do extensive testing on macOS. LibreOffice is not perfect, but there are hundreds of thousands of people using it on macOS. We (TDF) even have a developer focusing on macOS support. We've literally tested right now, resizing the window, and it works fine. Sorry that there's clearly something specific with your setup that's not working, and maybe we can try to fix it for your case. Tell us more about your setup, for instance...

       @libreoffice "Export directly as PDF" doesn't work in Version: 26.2.4.2 (X86_64). Oh, yes, it does create a PDF but the links within it are cold. In previous versions, it worked perfectly.Yes, again, that the file was created a couple of years ago and has been updated many times. The problem occurred with the latest update.Also, something happened to my tool bars and menus. I'm slowly resolving the many problems that were created.Generally speaking, the program still isn't as good as WordPerfect but I know of nothing better.

       @shwell1 Changing the default paste behaviour in a well-established suite with millions of users would be... risky, to say the least. But if you want to change it for your own setup, there are some ways: https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/always-paste-unformatted-text/118055/7

       @shwell1 When you say "We all want it", can you back up that statement with some evidence please? LibreOffice has 200 million users. Can you tell us the market research you've done to ascertain that the majority of them want this change? Thanks!

       @libreoffice Is this the wrong place for asking for help? I use Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS and have downloaded the DEB version of Libreoffice 26.2.5. I select all the files in the DEBS folder and open them in the App Center and click install. And the beachball starts turning. And turning. And turning. No installation seems to be happening. Have I done something wrong?

       @libreoffice Thank you. The solution was not to use the graphic package manager, but open the DEBS folder in Terminal and type "sudo dpkg -i *.deb". Silly of me not to think of that.
