       @kayla So a bit of chemistry and math suggests that you should limit your coffee to one liter, as that contains 400mg of caffeine (more or less depending on the strength of the roast).The downside of hydrating with something that's mostly water is that you're supposed to drink around 3 liters/day for proper hydration. Which means you're drinking a lot of extra stuff along with it.

       @Paradox was just being told I "need" to drink 64oz of water A DAY? I probably do close to that, but only half is literal H2O from the tap; the other half is like, bowl of cereal, cup of ramen, liter of coffee, etc

       @mechawatts That's honestly fine.I'm seeing some sources suggest 100oz.It will vary cuz you don't expel the same amount of water every day, but especially as it's hot right now, you need to drink extra.

       @Burrson It astounds me how many people don't like drinking straight water.I can understand not liking it tepid. I love it cold.Over here, it's common for restaurants to serve water with a lemon slice. Sometimes they default to that and you have to specify without lemon.
