       @gamingonlinux It is from long time that consolle market operates at loss, makers make (relatively) little from selling the consolle themselves, they recoup from the ecosystem (discs/licenses and live services).I believe Microsoft could ditch completely the Xbox as consolle hardware and make it like a "dumb terminal" for only playing online games from their store, in line with the plans to make Windows more a web client for their cloud services and apps.

       @gamingonlinux here is my idea/crazy vevered dream on how to fix the xbox:1. microosoft should exit the gaming business altogether and sell xbox to valve2. valve should upgrade/patch the series one and series x into steamboxes 3. ????????4. profit!
