       Annoyed by German friend who keeps dismissing things that are happening in other countries as if that doesn't affect anyone living in Germany. I laid out how decisions by US lawmakers and corporations affect my ability to sell erotica and in response I got "I don't care about US politics". Thank you, pal, I would love not caring about it either, yet it affects me from the other side of the world. Sky-rocketing petrol prices affected everyone in Germany, a direct consequence of US politics. WTF.

       @TheM00se It's not like he's unpolitical per se but he complained to me about wanting apolitical films while his favourite genre is sci-fi. I said all art is political, even if it wasn't created with intentional politics in mind, and sci-fi is one of the most inherently political genres in existence because you make predictions about the future. Maybe it's only "politics" if it's about something he doesn't care about? Idk.
