       AI Can’t Be Listed as Inventor on Patent Applications, Japan’s Top Court Rules https://japannews.yomiuri.co.jp/science-nature/technology/20260306-314930/Good. The Supreme Court has dismissed an American engineer’s appeal to have AI named as the inventor on a patent application. Haha. AI output like image, video, code or anything else created by Gen AI is also not copyrightable and now court says AI can't be Inventor too.
