       @itsfoss well, it’s more like a life path. I started out with Alpine (very lean but hard to configure), tried Ubuntu (too much of a walled garden feeling), Manjaro (sexy, but breaks with almost every update) and finally settled on Debian. Boring, stable, dependable.Tried some others as well (one night stands) but all just too short to make an impression. #linux #alpinelinux #ubuntu #manjaro #debian

You’re happy when your computer tells you “no”  ...today ... after the Thunar file mamager refused to let me rename a file with a  forward slash in it (for reasons).OTOH, writing a bash alias with 3 letters in it to save having to manually type-in a long complex folder-path every day *almost* made up for it.

       @itsfoss Choice was so fun. First time when I switched to Linux I was distrohopping every few months. This was so easy thanks to scripts and flatpaks.
