       To me "media preservation" only counts if it’s some form of public ownership, legal or illegal (libraries or piracy). Private companies keeping or bringing back things around through commerce doesn’t count, because long-term availability and accessibility is never going to be guaranteed.Arguing whether, for example, Nintendo is doing enough to preserve their video games is a moot point in my opinion.
