       #3GoodThings• The birds who built a nest in my tent (open on one end) while I was away have continued to care for their babies even though they’re scared of the big intruder (me, making myself as nonthreatening as possible).• I’m going down to San Francisco tomorrow for an overnight trip, with hotel paid, so I can help a friend pull herself together for her granddaughter’s wedding.• Today I lay for a long time—even dozed a little—in sunlight on the forest floor, which felt like food when I didn’t know I was hungry.
