       Asexuals belong at Pride. Asexuals belong in queer spaces. Asexuals deserve to be heard & believed & accepted.And don't let nobody replace the "A" in LGBTQIA with "ally". Allies don't erase people.

       The moment in Bury Your Gays where the Ace character is able to act unpredictably & defeat the baddies who have collected data to be able to predict what everyone will do is a fucking awesome & triumphant reversal (asexual people are virtually invisible to the baddies due to the lack of representation in media).Asexual erasure sucks, but it was nice to see a character exploiting that to totally destroy the Big Bad in a glorious moment of badassery.

We live in a sex-obsessed patriarchal society where men are supposed to prove their worth through sexual control of women. You can easily see how someone on any side of that would be subjected to discrimination for non-participation.Asexual people are not believed. Their experiences are minimized. They experience targeted forms of sexual abuse.It's a big deal.
