       Electronics that run as hot as an incandescent light bulb tend to LAST about as long as an incandescent light bulb. (The vacuum tube people TRIED REAL HARD to make those not burn out.)Each blackwell GPU takes something like 600 watts, and no matter how much cooling you apply that's gonna be hotter on the inside than the outside.So AI data center chips are gonna have a half life of what, 5 years? Sure they failover, but it's not just paper depreciation. They literally burn out in use.
