       having some awesome (i.e. potentially disastrous) ideas about building a little circular rig from stiff paper to hold a bunch of dead ballpoint pens and attaching it to a salad spinner, or power drill, or dremelbuild my own little gravitron/centrifuge for biros

       lab notebookexperiment 1. cordless drilltechnique has proven viable, but could be better perhaps with more speedexperiment 2. dremellines of ink ring the room. metal tip of pen has gone. heard one "pop" of impact- no ricochet. by extreme luck, was not bodily punctured. pen tip likely to be embedded like a bullet deep in a wall somewhere.
