       So, happy birthday me! 🎂 I used to have conflicted feelings about my birthday but now I'm trying to keep it simple. If it can just be a day for indulgence, kind introspection, and receiving love from both my strangely normal but likeable and supportive birth family and from the wonderful bunch of strange and lovely weirdos I have as lovers, friends, extended polycule and other acquaintances that make up my queer family, so be it! 💜 🐙

       Being born the 1st of June is a bit strange since I started to hang out in online queer places*. It's like being adopted into a huge family with a much more popular sibling who is born the same day you are.I don't mind it, as I don't especially enjoy being the center of attention, or at least not for something so random and trivial. It's just weird ^^(* There are pride walks everywhere and they are usually in June, but as far as I know, "Pride Month" is a very American concept. I hardly hear about it in the physical space, though it's gaining traction.)
